We had to start somewhere, so why not South Carolina? So on Wednesday, June 5th we were finally on our way to Alaska 2013. We left home around noon with a first night's destination to Greenville, SC. There we visited with one of Linda’s long time friends who was the Maid of Honor in our wedding over forty years ago. Back to the trip to Greenville… you can sum it up in one word… RAIN. In fact it rained all the way to Greenville and then most of the night. On the bright side, we had a good visit with Linda’s friend, Marsha. Also, we fueled up for $3.12.

Day 1 - Home to Greenville, SC
